Bayfield Programs

Jammin Juniors
Every Monday and Wednesday at the Lavenia McCoy Library in Bayfield from 10-11 am.  Come to the library and have fun playing with a parachute, singing, doing fingerplays and reading books! 

This is a free program available to children ages 0-5.

After School Care
La Plata Family Centers Coalition offers a licensed childcare for children
5-15 years in age in Bayfield.

CATCH
Provided through the Bayfield/Ignacio Family Center, CATCH stands for a Coordinated Approach To Child Health and is an evidence-based, coordinated school health program designed to promote physical activity, healthy food choices and the prevention of tobacco use in children.

The CATCH Programs cover kids from preschool through 8th grade and has been implemented in thousands of schools and after-school organizations across America and Canada. By teaching children that eating healthy and being physically active every day can be FUN, the CATCH Program has proven that establishing healthy habits in childhood can promote behavior changes that can last a lifetime.
