Baby Steps Support Group
There is still space available in our Baby Steps Support Group!
If you are a new mother and want to connect with other new moms to discuss the joys of motherhood as
well as the anxieties of adjusting to new responsibilities and changed routines, then this group is for you!
We will discuss topics such as: sleeping, crying, bathing, child development, car seat safety, music,
baby sign language, and more...
When: Thursdays, beginning October 6th

Book Bag Literacy Program
The Family Center of Durango has started a Book Bag Literacy Program for parents and their children. We are currently accepting new & used books. If you have books you no longer read, please keep us in mind! If you would like to check out a bag of books, please come into the Family Center.

Thank you to all the parents that gave us input on what books to include in our Family Center Book Lending Library.
Christine has updated our library and we have many new titles to help with the trials and tribulations of parenting.

City Market Cares Program
City Market Cares Program Did you know that you can give back to your favorite non-profit by shopping at City Market? The City Market CARES program allows patrons to designate the non-profit of their choice as a recipient of a percentage of their CARES contribution. So, if you were looking for an easy way to help the Family Center, here’s your chance! In order to participate, you will need to send us via email your name, phone number and 12 digit City Market card number. After you have signed up with us, all you need to do is use your City Market card every time you shop. That’s it! The more people who sign up with the Family Center, the larger contribution from CARES we will receive, so be sure to tell your family and friends. You can email your information to jessica@lpfcc.org , or stop by the Center to sign up. THANK YOU!
