Book Bag Literacy Program
The Family Center of Durango has started a Book Bag Literacy
Program for parents and their children. We are currently accepting
new & used books. If you have books you no longer read, please
keep us in mind! If you would like to check out a bag of books,
please come into the Family Center.

24th Year Family Center Reunion
May 10th, 2008 from 10 am to 2 pm at Chapman Hill.
We will have age appropriate activities, games and roller skating. Another exciting event will be the “Build a Child a Chair” Silent Auction. This will be a potluck event, so please bring your most delicious dish. We will continue to update you with details as the date approaches.

The Week of the Young Child & Kid’s Fair
April 13- 19 with the Kids Fair to be held
on Saturday, April 19th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Durango Mall.

Family Center Book Lending Library
Thank you to all the parents that gave us input on what books to include in
our Family Center Book Lending Library. Christine has updated our library
and we have many new titles to help with the trials and tribulations of
parenting. Please stop in to check out a book!

Newborn Group
Are you a new parent? The Family Center has a Newborn Group for
parents and their children up to 3 months old. This group meets on
Tuesday’s from 1-3 PM at the Family Center. The Family Center does offer
playgroups for children up to 4 years old. If you have any questions,
