	Program Description:
	Provides parents with referrals to licensed child care homes and centers, and with information on how to select quality child care. Provides technical assistance, training and support to existing and potential child care providers and to businesses seeking to develop work-family policies. A training program, Southwest Neighbors, is offered to train Colorado Works recipients to become child care providers, either in the home or in a center. Works with community agencies and businesses to increase child care capacity in La Plata County.

	Services are available to all community members.

	No fee to parents or providers.
	Documents Required:
	None for parents. Child care providers complete a questionnaire with information to be included on the provider database and send it in with a copy of license.
